We are looking for a full-time

Procurement Manager

to join our team in Oulunsalo, Finland.

In this role, your main responsibility will be to lead our procurement team to ensure the sourcing and purchasing of electrical and mechanical components for project needs. You will also be responsible for supplier and subcontractor management.

Procurement Manager reports to Director, Module Manufacturing.

Your responsibilities:

      • Creating a framework for efficient and cost-effective material management
      • Setting up and developing the subcontractor network, including supplier selection, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management
      • Planning and monitoring material cost targets
      • Cooperating with engineering and manufacturing as well as participating in product development projects from the perspective of material procurement
      • Acting as a procurement team leader

We are looking for:

      • Strong experience in managing and procuring a subcontracting network for order-driven production
      • Experience in medical automation and validation processes is an advantage
      • Bachelor or M.Sc. in technical engineering or equivalent
      • Experience in contract negotiations
      • Practical experience in purchasing and experience in the international supplier market
      • People’s leadership skills and experience
      • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
      • Earlier experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
      • Spoken and written English
      • Ability to travel occasionally domestically and internationally
