Ginolis LFDA-6 Lateral Flow Device Assembly

This is the machine that can expand your possibilities. From 1 strip to 4 strips, the machine can be configured to assemble a variety of different products with differing sizes. This can be done using the round belt conveyors that allow for a range of different product sizes to travel on 4 or 2 conveyor systems. The machine is also quick and easy to reconfigure for multiple products.

Who is LFDA-6 for?

  • Diagnostics manufacturers seeking high-volume automation with the flexibility to adapt to new products or processes.
  • Ideal for full-scale production of lateral flow devices
  • Handles various cassette types with minimal adjustments
  • Expandable with modules for printing, RFID, ultrasonic welding, pouching and more

What are the benefits

A close-up view of the internal mechanical and electronic components of an automated diagnostic device, showing precision-engineered metal and plastic parts.

Modular and future-ready production

LFDA-6 is based on Ginolis’ Xanthia robotic platform, enabling easy expansion and process reconfiguration as production needs evolve. Whether adding extra strip handling, labeling, RFID, or welding modules, the system adapts to changing product designs with minimal disruption.

A laboratory technician wearing a face mask and gloves operates an automated diagnostic device with a touchscreen interface in a cleanroom environment.

Advanced quality control and performance

LFDA-6 integrates intelligent vision systems to monitor strip placement, part alignment, and sealing height. Faulty products are automatically rejected, while optional modules—like UV fluorescence, print inspection or pin detection—further enhance process reliability and compliance with diagnostics manufacturing standards.
