Announcement: Kaste Lab Introducing Kaste Lab

Ginolis Enhances R&D and Lab Workflows with  Kaste Lab and Dispensing Studio

Enabling you to go from “works in our lab” to “running reliably on the production line” with the same dispensing recipe, cutting transfer risk, shortening time to launch, and protecting assay performance as you scale.

Ginolis Targets R&D Labs with Enhanced Kaste Lab and Dispensing Studio – Debuting at SLAS 2026 in Boston

  • Nanoliter precision for R&D: Enables 1 nL to 1500 µL dispensing with <3% CV, ideal for assay development, high-throughput screening, and biosensor prototyping in research labs.
  • Seamless lab integration: Modular, benchtop design with touchscreen controls, barcode tracking, and automated calibration supports flexible workflows from prototyping to validation.
  • SLAS 2026 debut: Ginolis will showcase live demos of these enhancements at SLAS International Conference & Exhibition in Boston, February 5-7, Booth #1045.

Oulu, Finland – Feb 9, 2026 – Ginolis Oy, a pioneer in automation and precision liquid handling for diagnostics and life sciences, today introduced major enhancements to its Kaste Lab and Dispensing Studio platforms, optimized for R&D and lab workflows. These updates deliver unmatched nanoliter accuracy, high-speed performance, and easy scalability to accelerate assay development, protocol optimization, and high-throughput experimentation in research environments.

Tailored for lab scientists, Kaste Lab offers benchtop automation with programmable dispensing from 2 nL to 1000 µL, achieving CV below 2% for reliable low-volume assays, reagent screening, and microfluidic prototyping. Dispensing Studio adds modular flexibility for integrating into existing robotic setups, handling liquids with multiple viscosities with non-contact delivery, pressure monitoring, and clog detection to minimize downtime and waste in iterative R&D cycles.

Ginolis will demonstrate these R&D-focused innovations live at the SLAS International Conference & Exhibition in Boston – (February 7-11, 2026), highlighting real-time workflow integration, automated calibration, and high-speed dispensing for labs pushing the boundaries of drug discovery, biosensor development, and precision diagnostics.

“Our enhanced Kaste Lab is built to empower development teams with tools that turn complex experiments into repeatable, efficient processes,” said Kauko Väinämö, CEO of Ginolis. “From early-stage assay validation to scaling prototypes, these systems reduce errors and speed innovation – and we’re excited to showcase them hands-on at SLAS in Boston next week.”

Kaste Lab features intuitive touchscreen interfaces, compliance-ready data logging, and compatibility with lateral flow, microarrays, and custom lab automation, enabling faster iteration without specialized expertise. Ginolis offers application consulting and customization to fit diverse research needs.
