Extensive experience in global leadership
Chris Buhlmann has held several senior leadership roles across global companies. His previous positions include:
- Vice President of the Global Product Line for Industrial Power Transmission at Gates Corporation
- Global General Manager and Vice President at Tektronix Communications (a Danaher company)
- Global Vice President of Sales for the Test and Optimization business unit at Tektronix Communications
In these roles, Chris has demonstrated his ability to lead complex international sales organizations and execute strategic initiatives in competitive markets, including the Defence and Government sectors. Before his corporate career, Chris served as a US Naval Flight Officer from 1986 to 1995. He flew the S-3B Viking aircraft from US Navy aircraft carriers and served in key global regions such as the Western Pacific and Persian Gulf. He continued to serve through aviation-centric reserve assignments until his retirement in 2010, ultimately achieving the rank of US Navy Captain (O-6). His deep commitment to service and leadership remains a defining strength in his professional life.
