KL Mechanics Oy, a contract manufacturer of high-quality subcontracted machining, and Ginolis Oy, a global provider of production automation and liquid handling solutions, today announced an agreement under which KL Mechanics will purchase the business of Ginolis Tools Oy.
KL Tools, a subsidiary of KL Mechanics, will continue Ginolis Tools’ customer-oriented and high-quality operations as of June 1, 2017. Employees will be transferred to the new company and Pekka Raudaskoski will continue as Managing Director. KL Tools’ will specialize in the high-quality machining of individual pieces and small series with fast delivery.
KL Mechanics Oy is a full-service contract manufacturer with 25 years of experience. The business transaction completes the KL Mechanics service offering to existing and new customers. The KL Mechanics Group includes parent company, KL Mechanics Oy, and subsidiaries, KL FineMech Oy and KL Tools Oy.
With this business venture, Ginolis Oy will focus more on its core expertise, providing high-quality automation and liquid handling solutions for the production and processing of healthcare consumables.
The transaction will be finalized during May 2017 and the business will be transferred to KL Tools Oy on June 1, 2017, after which calls for tenders, offers, orders, invoices and other similar items for Ginolis Tools will be made to KL Tools.
